Tomaž Nedoh - saxophone
Tomaž Nedoh belongs to the new generation of aspiring Slovenian musicians that are steadily gaining ground in the field of European music. His music ambitions go beyond the established norms as he wants not only to excel at teaching, but to affirm himself as a creative composer, conductor and excellent concert player. He studied with Prof. Matjaž Drevenšek at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana, where he graduated with honours in October 2003. Throughout his studies he took courses with renowned saxophone teachers like Claude Delangle, Vincent David, Jean-Yves Fourmeau, Eugene Rousseau, Saša Nestorović, Tomas Walsh, S. Bischon, Milko Lazar, Božidar Tumpej, Martin Spangenberg, Karsten Nagel, Matthias Kirschenreit, Christina Wirth, Massimiliano Donninelli. He also collaborated with the Slovenian Army Orchestra.
He is currently teaching saxophone at Sežana and Postojna music schools and conducting the Postojna music school orchestra. From 2006 to 2008 he conducted the Ricmanje orchestra in San Giuseppe della Chiusa, Italy. He is endeavouring to provide full recognition to Slovenian music within the Slovenian minority living in Italy. He is a regular teacher at international summer schools and a member of the judging panel at Slovenian and international music competitions. Above all, he wants to encourage the awareness of instrument playing or of any kind of music creativity.
His debut album called Bonaca was released in September 2009 containing his own compositions. He also collaborated on albums of D-Fact (Fashion victim), Big Foot Mama (15 years live), Une corse dai sacs tal timp (Sedean sacs grup), Nick Papis, GM oder (Saksofobija quartet). He has been collaborating with renowned music groups and musicians like Dej šen litro, Severina Vučković, Donald Trumpet, Črnobela, Etno Partizani. He participated in the Slovenian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest EMA 2007 and EMA 2010 as well as in MMS 2007 festival.
His new CD and DVD Live entitled Reflections were released this year that were recorded live at the Kabaj homestead in the Goriška Brda region.

Martina Feri: vocals
Martina graduated at the Giuseppe Tartini Music Conservatory in Trieste in 2003.
She is currently teaching contemporary and jazz singing at music schools Scuola di Musica 55 in Trieste and Scuola di Musica Roland in Gorica.
After opera studies at M. Kogoj music school, she complemented her studies with mezzo-soprano Cristina Guarino and jazz singers Maja Jakupović and Ines Reiger in Graz (Austria) as well as Irena Vidic in Ljubljana. She took a jazz singing class (Prof. Karoline De Rooij) at Klagenfurt Conservatory. In 2005 she attended workshops at Umbria Jazz Clinics festival in Peruga (Italy) accompanied by Donna McElroy (jazz vocal) and Dennis Montgomery III (gospel) from Berklee College of Music, Boston. In 2005 and 2006 she attended the Jazzinty workshop in Novo mesto (Slovenia). The class was taught by Miles Griffith.
She collaborates with:
- in duo with her brother, guitar player Marko Feri (2nd place at national Hit Festival 2004 competition in Saint Vincent, Aosta, 2nd place at national JazzOnLive 2006 competition in Brescia);
- in Balkan ethno-rock band Kraški ovčarji from Trieste;
- with various artists living in the Slovenian minority in Trieste and other parts of Italy (Paolo & Stefano Bembi, Davide Casali, Iztok Cergol, Sofia & Laura Cossutta, Aleksander Ipavec, Aljoša Jerič, Martina Kafol, Jasna Merkù, Andrejka Možina, Jana Pečar, Daniela Picoi, Piero Purini, Luciano Santin, Ornella Serafini);
- on various projects (live performances, studio, radio, and television recordings, among other for Rai, RTV Slovenia, RTV Koper, Telequattro).
She also collaborated with:
- as a solo singer in Status Symbol band, jazz bands Weavers and Nomos Jazz Ensamble, with Big Band RTV Slovenia under Lojze Kranjčan, on Tribute to Pink Floyd project, with Godbeno društvo Prosek orchestra and GD Viktor Parma orchestra from Trebče;
- in duet with Slovenian singer-songwriter Vlado Kreslin and Croatian singer Aki Rahimovski (Parni Valjak).
At the Slovenian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest EMA 2010, Martina Feri and Tomaž Nedoh performed a song entitled Le en dan.
Marko Čepak: guitar
At the age of 16 he was selected as one of the four finalists at the young guitarist competition and then performed at the closing concert in Radlje ob Dravi. After he turned 20, he concentrated on jazz music again. He recorded and collaborated on numerous studio projects. He is currently taking a postgraduate course at the Trieste conservatory with Prof. Richardo Chiarion, Gesing Klaus, Venier Glauco, Giovani Maier, Stefano Bellon, which contributes to broadening his experience and knowledge of jazz music. He mainly focuses on his own music and performs in various jazz projects, such as Impango, Duo Impango, Bomango, Ragtime jazz band.
Recently he has been frequently collaborating with musicians from Italy: Paolo Bernetti, Ilic Fenzi, Alberto Collodel, Luciano Caruso, Davide Lorenzon, Efrem Silan, Filippo Orefice, Ivan Pilat, Tony Costantini, Luigi Vitale, Nicola Barbon, Ivan Segat, Ermes Ghirardini, to name just a few.

Pietro Spangero: bass
Pietro graduated from jazz music at the Giuseppe Tartini Music Conservatory in Trieste.
He is currently teaching double bass at the Stefano Sciascia music school.
He has collaborated on masterclasses and seminars conducted by musicians, such as Fred Hersh, Gunner Plummer, Yuri Goloubev, Hans Sturm, Matt Garrison, and Klaus Gesing.
He also performed in various theatres, clubs and festivals in Italy and other countries.

Manuel Kos: drums
He gained his first experiences with pop, jazz, and Latin music around 1993 by playing in bends with the pianist, composer and arranger R. Vatovec. From 1996 to 2003 he collaborated with the pianist J. Bratož in Vatavuhu band that performed at youth and jazz clubs and festivals around Slovenia. In 1998 this enlarged band recorded their famous live concert at RTV Slovenia with Tinkara Kovač and Lara Baruca. As a drummer, singer and arranger, he recorded an album with his own compositions together with Vatavuhu band in 1999. In 2002 he collaborated on the Altaria multimedia project that involved a band and computer performing D. Černe’s music accompanied with video production. As a performer of contemporary composed electronic and live music of KUD C3 band, together with his colleagues from FA, he took part in multimedia performances around Slovenia in 2004. The elements of these performances, space, sound, rhythm, projection, light, play, and dance, are interwoven and in complete harmony. In 2007 he was performing music of the Balkans with a 10 member band Chave te chaja. The same year he also recorded songs with Dijazztivo band in Trieste that were promoted by the band in clubs and festivals around Slovenia. In 2008 he performed with Martina Feri Group. At the end of 2009, he recorded a live concert with Tomaž Nedoh & Funband for RTV Koper-Capodistria.
Giuliano Esposito: keyboards
Giuliano graduated from jazz music at the Giuseppe Tartini Music Conservatory in Trieste.
He took part in music seminars with professors Glauco Venier, Pietro Marcello, Stefano Bellon, Maria Joao, and Keith Jarrett.
He also performed at numerous noted festivals in Slovenia and abroad.

Andrey Piryevec – Drummer, Percussionist, Multi instrumentalist, Composer
Grown up in a musical family, his father was a bass player for many years. Andrey started with the classical guitar lesson at the age of seven. After four years of classical guitar in Trieste (Italy), he quit and started learning drums, what was his real passion, since an early age. He played like a drummer, percussionist and guitarist in several bands, projects and recording sessions in Slovenia of very different musical styles.
In 2005 he started learning Afro-Cuban percussion. He had private lessons with some of the greatest percussionists from Slovenia.
From September 2006 is living and regularly performing and recording in the London area.
In June 2009 he graduated at the London College of Music (Thames Valley University–Drumtech), where he was studying with acclaimed drum tutor Darryn Farrugia and Pete Cater. He also attended private lessons for tuned percussion with Jeremy Cornes (LSO-London Symphony Orchestra and LPO-London Philharmonic Orchestra) and for Latin (hand) percussion with the great Brazilian percussionist Bosco DeOliveira (Sade, Airto Moreira, …).
He was a regular member of the LCM Big Band (London College of Music Big Band) where he was playing Latin Percussion and Drums, and was also working as a session drummer for Tech Music Schools London for over 3 years.
